Hans Zimmer Live tour is heading to Abu Dhabi

Cinema score legend Hans Zimmer is making a return to the UAE capital with the brand-new show at Etihad Arena on 13 November 2026.

The Abu Dhabi performance forms part of Hans Zimmer’s ‘THE NEXT LEVEL’ tour, featuring the composer himself alongside his 19-piece band. The production transforms some of cinema’s most beloved scores into a powerful live arena spectacle, combining orchestral performances, electronic soundscapes, immersive lighting, and stunning stage design.

The show is promoted by Ethara and Proactive, working together to bring Zimmer’s spectacular live production to the emirate in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, as part of the 23rd edition of Abu Dhabi Festival.

The Academy Award- and Grammy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer is globally recognised for music behind some of cinema’s most iconic productions such as The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Last Samurai, Interstellar and Dune: Part One. His groundbreaking approach to film composition has reshaped modern cinematic sound, blending orchestral depth with contemporary production techniques. 

Beyond his award-winning compositions, Zimmer is a remarkably successful touring artist. He recently concluded his first North American and European “Hans Zimmer Live” tours, selling out the largest arenas and thrilling thousands of fans.
