Kings of Leon Light Up Etihad Live Stage at Thursday After-Race Concerts
10/28/26
Multi-GRAMMY and BRIT Award-winning rock band Kings of Leon will headline the After-Race Concerts alongside Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi on Thursday, 3 December, as part of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026.
Kings of Leon debuted in 2003 and have since one of the world’s most recognised alternative rock bands. With over 20 million albums and nearly 40 million singles sold worldwide, the accolades include twelve GRAMMY nominations, four GRAMMY awards, three NME awards, two Brit awards and one Juno award.
The band’s tour history led them to the world’s most prestigious venues and music festivals, including Glastonbury, Coachella, numerous Lollapaloozas, the UK’s Reading and Leeds Festivals on three occasions. Following their fifth headline performance at London’s Hyde Park, the band matched a record held only by The Rolling Stones.
Their Abu Dhabi performance follows the release of their highly anticipated studio album O My Beloved scheduled on 6 November. Produced by Kings of Leon, it explores themes of family, gratitude and the journey that has shaped the band over more than two decades.
Kings of Leon replace the previously announced Zara Larsson, who is no longer able to perform at the event.
