Ethara played a significant role in managing various aspects of COP28 UAE, an international climate summit held at Expo City Dubai between 30 November - 12 December 2023.

We led programming across four venues in the Green Zone including Al Wasl Plaza, The Green Zone Stage, Surreal Waterfall, and The Public Realm, as well as six bookable spaces including Terra Pavilion, Alif Pavilion, and Women’s pavilion. Our scope also included operational planning, technical and operational advancement of shows, liaison with artists, front-of-house operations, venue logistics, and broadcast coordination.

Our team contracted artists including Tristan Eaton, Refik Anadol, and organised many landmark events as part of the COP28 UAE programme including the Sustainable Fashion Show and the Zayed Sustainability Prize ceremony. Other key highlights of our involvement included hosting notable events such as Sadhguru's Impact Nest, Bassem Yousef's talk, a dinner for the Brazilian president and other high-profile events and shows.
