Since 2022 Ethara has been commissioned to organise the Dubai Esports and Games Festival (DEGF), a 17-day event that celebrates the culture and industry of gaming through a diverse mix of experiences.

The festival consists of two main segments: GameExpo and the Game Expo Summit. GameExpo, a three-day extravaganza welcoming 26,000 visitors for Themed zones, Daily tournaments, Cosplay showcases, Family-friendly activities. It’s the ultimate gathering for fans, bringing together over 775 participating brands and more than 75,000 top local and international gamers.

GameExpo Summit is a platform for innovation. Over 1,500 industry experts and 100 world-class speakers including developers, publishers and thought leaders from around the globe gather to discuss developments, trends and investment opportunities in the gaming industry.

The festival reinforces Dubai’s standing as a global gaming hub, and cements its reputation in the industry by giving distributors, developers and gamers a stage. With immersive, hands-on experiences and collaborative opportunities across the gaming ecosystem, it delivers moments that resonate for years to come.
